Halloween (for real)

Two hundred and six.

Today was ACTUALLY halloween. (Obviously). Some of us cabbies went to our advisors house to visit (and to see our pumpkins lit. At least those that hadn't rotten completely). Her neighbor served fresh mini donuts. Totally legit.

Halloween was celebrated mostly by college kids (and most other kids) on Saturday this year. The girls and I got dressed up, visited our old section, and just hung out and talked mostly. It was a really fun chill night.

AP got this in the mail today. Its for her boyfriend. Its a pair of shoes. I just really liked the cover of the box. =] Good ol North Face.

Opening night of R&J. The show was once again fantastic. I went to the costume shop after the show to say hi to some friends who were working wardrobe. AB's mom made these cookies. They were so good, but they were even better decorated.

Photo call for Shakespeare's R&J was tonight. It was EPIC. The show was fantastic. And photos went wonderfully. I was really happy with them.

I hung out with EV last night (Monday) (after day one of two 12 hour rehearsals...). He was one of the few people still on campus over break. On my way back to my room (which was technically Tuesday morning... around 12:30 or so, when this was taken) I saw this guy. There is a funny story with me and tripping over a spoon once... so now CS and I always send pictures of the ones we see lying around campus. I swear they are still out to get me. (Ha).

Baking

One hundred and ninety nine.

I had a day of baking today. Made both cookies AND cupcakes. The cookies went to CAB, the cupcakes went to the 3C girls (and a few select others). Both were good. Really good. It was hard to not eat them all. Headed back to school tonight... boo for ending break early.

Experimenting

One hundred and ninety eight.

So, I'm in this class; beginning experiments in design. I had my first painting assignment this weekend. It was actually really fun to paint for like, 5 hours. I also got to see JH a bit today who was also home for the weekend. It was a good time.

SPONTANEITY!

It's wonderful, no? For me today it was! Decided to check to see if there were still tickets to The Script. Turns out, there were. My mom and I got 8th row seats around 3:30 when the concert started at 8. My friends who got tickets in like, July, were row L in the balcony. Total win. The show was WONDERFUL. Still can't get over it.

Thats kind of what I ended up doing when I went to college. I cleaned out our DVD stash. The cases are all piled up in my room. This was another "half asleep still need a picture" picture. Oh, I'm home for fall break now. Yay!

So. Much. Time. Spent studying in the quiet CAB office. I needed a study break, and a picture, so I took one of Gus! He lives in the CAB office. He's pretty hip with his hair and eyebrow piercing.

Futbol

One hundred and ninety four.

I have gotten myself back into sports this year. True story. I followed the Twins, kinda keep up with the Vikings (but they suck so...) and have decently stayed on top of GAC sports. Especially soccer. Here is me watching the game online in the CAB office (before I actually went to the game.. since it was the last home game of the season). I enjoy it. Now if only hockey season would start so I can follow the next sport. =]

So, I don't really like the Beatles. Yeah, I know, hate me. But I do like their songs, well lyrics. I had this song stuck in my head a week ago or so and wrote this on the board in a classroom. I walked into the classroom today and everything else had been erased on the board but this. I smiled. Then it got stuck in my head again... curse you, self.

CAB fun day!

After getting up early to finish my paper (which I did. 2043 words of pure gold) I got ready for CAB fun day! We went to our advisors house for pumpkin carving, pot roast, cheesy potatoes, pumpkin dump cake, football, and fun. It was a blast. I didn't know what picture to pick so I'm posting 5. Enjoy!

Late nights

One hundred and ninety one.

Literally spent all day writing a paper. Well, from like 2pm to midnight. On a Saturday. Dedication. I spent most of my evening in the CAB office. Its my favorite place to do homework. I stayed till the building closed then took a break to see some friends and attend a bonfire which was super chill and really fun. Voila the office. Taken at 11:55 pm.

The coming out week drag show was tonight. It was amazing. Seriously. I haven't laughed that hard in a long time. One of my friends RB was in it (his group won first place). Here he is getting his make up done by BE. Good times.

This just goes to show people never grow up. I walked into rehearsal today and the seniors had drawn this on the board. Not sure what it is, but they wanted a picture of it and I was the only one with a camera. Surprise surprise. So here you are. Some random who knows what. Yay!

Sorry I haven't posted in forever. You should all be proud I'm still actually doing this. The amount of times I almost quit the past two weeks was not ok. One of the pictures I have to post is of my schedule... it may give you an idea of how insanely busy I have been. But never fear, I have all the pictures lined up on my desktop ready to go... I just need to find time to actually post them.

One hundred and sixty eight.

So, CS has forever tried to teach me how to make a perfect ice cream cone. Its been about a years worth of efforts and I'm finally learning. This is the cone I had today. It was good. Though the ice cream here has been off and on lately. Which is sad.
