Saturdays at work

Ninety two.

Saturdays at work tend to be loonnnnggggggg days. This day especially. For some reason it was just a killer. Maybe because it was post concert day. I don't know. Anyway, KF, one of my co-workers, decided she wanted this purse. Since her phone died I took a picture of it and sent it to her mom. It ended up being the only picture I took all day.

Rubber Ball

Ninety one.

Apparently they come bouncing back to you... Or so sings Bobby Vee. Who I met today. Along with Fabian. My place of employment held a concert featuring the two singers today so we got these awesome shirts to wear. They say staff on the back. We all felt pretty cool wearing them.

p.s. sorry this picture kinda sucks, my room is too dark for photobooth apparently.

Visitors!

Ninety.

AP came up from her small small hometown of Arlington to see me. =] We had a wonderful time walking around Wayzata, eating dinner, catching up. All that jazz. Followed by going to the midnight premier of Charlie St. Cloud with SF. It was good. Not amazing.

Noerenberg.

Eighty nine. (plus one)

CP and I went off to Noerenberg this afternoon to take some pictures. Sadly I didn't get many good ones, I'm a little out of practice. But I did like these two. I'm starting to see where an assistant comes in handy. I could have used some reflectors in some of these. After shooting we went to Excel to jump in the lake and swim around some. It was a fun time.

hello hello

Eighty eight.

New hair! SO short. Well, short compared to how long it was. I think it kinda looks like Peyton from One Tree Hill (post her curls stage).

So long, farewell.

Eighty seven.

So, I'm getting my hair cut tomorrow. I think about 5 inches off or so. I straightened my hair before I went out with HD tonight because I want to enjoy it long while I still can. I'll miss it. But it needs to go. Its gross. And unhealthy. And hard to manage.

Do do do do do do do do

Eighty six.

Picture the title as the twilight zone music. M and I found this in the back room at work. Its a christmas ornament. But we think its basically the creepiest thing ever. Cause it is.

Diamonds?

Eighty five.

While I was peacefully watching JCS my dad rushed in and said "you gotta come take a picture of this!!!!!" So I did. Not as exciting as I would have hoped, but it got me my picture for the day so I can't complain. He claims they looked like diamonds. I thought it looked like morning dew, cause it was. Ha.

Arbre

Eighty three.

So my dad put this light on our tree. Not sure how I feel about it. But it made for a semi-decent picture. Which is needed. The blog is lacking.

The South Butt

Eighty two.

So, my old backpack was awesome. White and orange. North face. Lasted me a long time. I got a new backpack for my birthday. Brown green and blue. TOTALLY rocks. I can't wait to use it. (Which is kinda sad...)

Eighty one.

I got to go sailing!! Its been probably 2 years since I've actually gotten to sail. Usually when I sail I don't do anything. But I got to rig the sails, man the helm, tack, jib, all that fun stuff. JL and I went out on one of the Ensigns at her yacht club. We caught up, sailed, watched the sunset. It was a lot of fun.

Romeo, O Romeo

Seventy nine.

After hanging out with LT in the morning (who I hadn't seen since christmas), I drove to White Bear Lake to see JK as Romeo in Shakespeare and Company's production of, you guessed it, Romeo and Juliet. I met up with EJ who used to stage manage there and we saw the show, talked, I got to see J and then also saw LF who was randomly there supporting her friend who was Juliet, and I guess J too. It was a really fun night. Then I hung out with LW after, we watched some Gilmore Girls. Busy day.

Recently I have taken up bracelet making (again). These are the new ones I learned how to make. Intense, no?

Thank you, Fly

Seventy six.

So, I got roped into working the community show this summer. I'm just the sub for days when other crew people can't show up. Anyway, tonight was the last night of tech so while everyone was doing pre-show I ventured up to the fly since I haven't been up there for a while. It made me miss GJ and SE a lot.

Day one.

Seventy five.

Back to work today after my vacation. After work I went to hang out with DN. We caught up, watched some Avatar: The Last Airbender, ate dinner. Then I went to JF's for a bit, then back to DN's, then went to LW's. I was all over the place. Anyway, J is making a movie! I think I mentioned this before. Tonight was his first night of filming, I was there to document. Here is a shot of J and AH checking out what the shot will look like.

Duluth!

Hello friends! I'm back from my worldly (stately?) adventures. SUCH a good week. Here are all the updates along with detailed Duluth trip agenda. Enjoy! p.s. If you want to know the week in order start at the bottom and work your way up. =]

Seventy four.

Last day (boo). C and I went to lunch with E before he went off to work. Then C and I went to Wisconsin (yup) to play some mini golf. I haven't played in forever, I didn't do very well... Then we went to the Duluth Aquarium which was fun. But the otters weren't out. We were a little sad about that one. Then we went to Canal to walk around the shops some, got some dinner at green mill and then I headed back home!

Seventy three.

C and I went out for breakfast ("breakfast" .... it was noon) then met up with EO and went on the alpine coaster at spirit mt. SO fun. If you go to Duluth I recommend it. Then we headed to the beach for a while. Got E back for soccer. Went to dinner. Met back up with E and went to Enger Tower, so this picture is the view from there. It was GORGEOUS. Then we headed back to C's to watch a movie.

Seventy two.

I arrived at CS's house from my cabin around 8:30 or so. Then we went down to Canal Park to walk around, see the bridge and the, well, canal. Then walked down the boardwalk aways and met up with EO. Got some ice cream (it was super good) and went back to C's for a bonfire. SO SO SO fun.

CABIN!!!

Seventy one.

Hello new wakeboard. Isn't it pretty. =]

Seventy.

More skiing! And I think we did another tubing run too. Then brought P half way so he could get home and back to work.

Sixty nine.

East Twin Lake. Its pretty epic. Did a lot of tubing and skiing and wake boarding today. It hurt to move after a while. Can you say sore? Also, HBD to me!

Sixty eight.

Made it up to the cabin with PH. We didn't do much but read in the afternoon due to the cloudy weather, but we enjoyed our time on the hammock. Then P went for a ski run after dinner. Around 9:30. Gotta love summer daylight hours.

Lulu

Sixty seven.

I went over to visit HK (and NS who was also there) so I could meet her new puppy! This is Tallaulah (however you may spell that...) cutest thing ever. I love her. She will eventually grow to be the size of my dog. Around 100 lbs. maybe a little less. American bulldog, though she looks like a dalmatian right now, all spotted and everything.

Also, a heads up, I will be gone till next Tuesday, so you won't get a post till then. But I've been so sporadic with these posts anyway you probably would have never known I was out of town.

Till Tuesday!

Planning

Sixty six.

This is, shamefully, the only picture I took today. Although not really. I took this to send to CS along with the message "Facebook told me to be a fan of him, obviously they know me too well" since we are both Vin Diesel fans. Which then started the 'I miss you' conversation (she lives in Duluth) which started the when are you visiting conversation and before I knew it I had a plan to visit in less than an hour. Crazy how that works out, huh. But I'm thrilled about it. =]

4th!

Sixty five.

Happy 4th of July! I spent my morning with the fam, we all went to see Toy Story 3. Then after SM came over and, since she had never been to Excelsior, we went to Excelsior so I could show her around, then went back to my house and then back to Excel for fireworks. All in all it was a really fun day. Nice and chill, which was good.

Avatar

Sixty four.

I'm getting really good at taking boring pictures, aren't I... Well my dad and I went to see The Last Airbender tonight. I was pleasantly surprised at how it turned out after reading so many bad reviews. Granted, the acting needed some help, but visually, it was fun to watch. All the martial arts stuff was really cool and Noah Ringer, the 12 year old that played Aang (the main guy) must have been training since the day he was born or something, cause he knew his stuff. So I would recommend it, just know that the acting and the script (but NOT the story) are not the best things to come to the film industry.

Orange

Sixty three.

After hanging out with LW and catching up, I went over to JF's for a bonfire. Driving back, not that you can really tell by this picture, the moon was bright orange. Totally sweet. So once I got home I grabbed the tripod and tried to capture it. Kinda failed. But you get the idea at least.

Snack time

Sixty two.

Who doesn't love a bowl of cherries for a snack. I ate them while watching Percy Jackson and the lightening thief. Which was actually a really good movie.
